Got it from my mama | #ThisIsFamily

This Mother’s Day 2019, we’re looking back at the things we’ve got from our mamas - whoever that may be. Celebrating all kinds of mother figures, we know that anyone can have a maternal impact on our lives and we’re here to champion those people, regardless of race, gender or relation. Farida and Jack are our first HQ mother and son duo. Having been River Island’s Chief Brand Officer for 36 years, it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about style - something that’s definitely been passed onto Jack (and his love of hosting dinner parties!)

Lara AKA @laramallo is a Creative Director and Social Media specialist and was adopted by mum, Nanny from Brazil when she was just one. We talk all things adoption and the traits they share...

The definition of mum boss, Katie AKA @mumlife_styled is mummy to the gorgeous, Isabella and cheeky Charlotte. Proving that you can be both a stylish (and sassy!) a working mum, Katie wants to raise her girls know that they can do and achieve anything...

Radhika, or Rads as she’s better known around RI HQ is one third of our strong female trio, with mum, Katie and auntie, Rakhi and are a true reflection of how maternal lines are blurred in Indian families. We catch up to talk cultures, family life and upcoming nuptials...

They’re the best aren’t they? Spoil them in style…
