Earthy natural tones have dominated the autumn/winter catwalks. From nutmeg to caramel, chunky-knits to tailoring, camel and its various shades are no longer the reserve of your overcoat alone. Infuse one of this season’s key trends into every element of your wardrobe by to create comfortable yet rich tailored looks
The tuxedo is a classic for a reason, but remember, formal wear doesn’t have to be boring. Lose the bow-tie and substitute the stuffy dress shirt for a more relaxed alternative. Add a leather biker to some patterned loungewear to achieve a look that is as brave as it is effortless.
This season the humble square is everywhere. From plaid to Prince of Wales; check is your mate. When tackling this trend your approach should be tonal yet bold. Try pairing a blue windowpane check (in two or three piece) with contrast print tie or pocket square. Adding a classic blue, double breasted overcoat to increase the versatility of not only this look, but your entire wardrobe.
The emergence of the high-low trend for track-tops and tailoring has, over the last few years, slowly but surely infiltrated the high street. Whilst layering a funnel neck underneath a suit is nothing new, adding a tonal element to this look, coupled with a contrast football scarf (another key trend for AW17) makes a real statement. Think Royal Tenenbaums meets the terraces.

The increase in functional sportswear on the streets has led to a growing trend for merging style and technology.
