One top, four New Year’s Eve plans

Treat yourself to a fresh pair of socks and a bowl, full to the brim, of popcorn. People can kid themselves but there’s no better way to countdown the new year than at home, on the sofa.

If you’re a massive foodie, we can’t think of anything better than a three course meal to see in 2024. Pair a white t-shirt with dark denim jeans, suede boots, a smart navy jacket and get ready to feast. Instead of sweating for hours with hundreds of strangers, dine with your nearest and dearest - lovely.

Off to a big bash? Countdown in style wearing - you guessed it - a white t-shirt. Dress it up with a smart shacket over the top and plissé trousers to add an interesting texture. Trainers are our go-to for nights out, both for comfort and practicality when trying to hail a cab at 3am when the strobe lights get a bit much - you’re not 18 anymore.

For those of you who plan to be in bed by 10pm, here’s a daytime activity for you. Nothing beats a walk in the British countryside especially around this time of year. Breathe in the fresh air, let the dog off the lead and maybe treat yourself to a last mulled wine to-go of the year. A white t-shirt, warming shacket, cargo trousers and a waterproof coat will see that you return home nice and dry.
